World Road Race Champion Peter Sagan Races an NUE Event!

Thrilling news that world road race champ Peter Sagan is going to race Olympic MTB. Everyone has seen his stunt skills which translate on the road in his ability to hop curbs and corner. He is a mountain biker too though, and along with the likes of Cadel Evans and Bradley Wiggens, road riders are becoming aware of the benefits MTB brings in handling, intense efforts, and even endurance.
And doubly awesome is that, in prep for the Olympics, Peter chose to ride a mini version of a signature National Ultra Endurance Mountain Bike Race Series event, Pierre’s Hole 50/100 mile mtn bike race. NUE events are what I’ve been riding the last few years and just finishing one is a huge accomplishment.

As an NUE racer it’s awesome to see world class pros like Jeremiah Bishopof Team Topeak-Ergon and Peter Sagan showing up these challenging events.
